This Privacy Policy explains how ZZ Wholesale (“ZZ Wholesale”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses and shares information when you visit zzwholesaleonline.com (the “Site”), apply for a trade account, or buy from us.
Who we are

Age restriction
Many of our products are age-restricted. The Site is intended only for businesses and for adults aged 21 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If you believe someone under 21 has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account and order details: your name, business name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, the products you order and your order history. Account passwords are stored in hashed form and are never visible to us.
- Trade account applications: your business name and contact details, federal tax ID (EIN), state resale or sales tax permit number, and the documents you upload, such as a resale certificate or business license. We use these to confirm that you are eligible for wholesale pricing and tax-exempt purchasing.
- Messages: anything you send us through a contact form, by email or by phone, together with your contact details.
- Age confirmation: your confirmation that you are 21 or older. We may also ask to see identification before completing an order.
Payment information
If you pay by card, your card details are sent securely to our payment processor, Authorize.net, to authorize the payment. We do not store full card numbers on the Site. If you choose to pay on account, we will contact you to arrange payment.
Information collected automatically
When you use the Site we automatically receive your IP address, your browser and device type, the pages you visit and how you arrived at the Site. We collect this through server logs and cookies, described below.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- keep you signed in and remember your cart and wishlist;
- remember that you have confirmed your age;
- keep the Site fast and secure; and
- understand how visitors use the Site, using Google Analytics.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, you will not be able to sign in or place an order. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on.
How we use your information

- to review trade account applications and apply the correct pricing to approved accounts;
- to keep the records that tax law requires for wholesale and tax-exempt sales;
- to verify age and comply with the laws that apply to age-restricted products;
- to send you order confirmations, account notices and replies to your questions;
- to send you news about products and offers, only where you have agreed to receive it (you can unsubscribe at any time);
- to prevent fraud and keep the Site and our customers secure; and
- to understand how the Site is used and improve it.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who work on our behalf and may use it only to provide their service to us, including our payment processor (Authorize.net), shipping carriers, our order and inventory management system, our website hosting, maintenance and security providers, and Google (analytics);
- Authorities when the law requires it, for example tax authorities or regulators of age-restricted products, or when needed to protect our rights, our customers or the public; and
- A buyer or successor if our business, or part of it, is sold or reorganized.
How long we keep it
We keep account information while your account is open. We keep order, invoice and tax-exemption records, including resale certificates, for as long as tax and accounting laws require, which is usually several years after the sale. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
How we protect it
The Site uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and access to customer information is limited to the people and service providers who need it. No website or system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us.
Your choices and rights
You can review and update most account information by signing in to your account. You can also ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- correct information that is inaccurate;
- delete your information, except records we must keep by law; or
- stop sending you marketing emails.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy laws. To make a request, email us at the address below. We will need to confirm your identity before acting on it, and we will not treat you differently for making a request.
